Cancer Australia receives ongoing funding for the PBS performance measure: Program 1.1 ‘Provide high quality cancer data to inform national cancer control’. Towards this objective, Cancer Australia will undertake activities related to implementation of the Australian Cancer Plan, including development of a National Cancer Data Framework and minimum dataset. In order to deliver on this program of work, Cancer Australia requires high level national technical expertise in cancer data and epidemiology. Cancer Australia does not have this level of expertise within the Agency and, as such, needs to procure the required professional technical services
